With the coming of the new year there are many new experiences that will come my way. I'm set to start a new job with Countrywide Insurance as a personal lines consultant (property and casualty agent). I'm real excited to get away from waiting tables, while its been a great experience and I've met alot of cool people at Macaroni Grill, I'm just get tired of it and think its time to move on to a real job. The new job will be a Monday-Friday 8-5 job. I think the toughest thing will be getting my body used to waking up at 6:30 everyday again.
It will be my first full year of being married; Laura and I bought a puppy a few months back and things are going good. We've managed to teach her to sit and lay down, we haven't had much luck however getting her housetrained. She knows how to do her business in her box but she wants nothing to do with going outside in the snow. One of my resolutions is to get her housetrained before years end.
We're planning a big trip next Christmas to go to Japan with Laura's parents (conveniently, they both speak fluent japanese). Japan has always been somewhere I've wanted to visit. The culture and people seem so respectful and I don't even need to mention the sushi. So needless to say, we need to save up some money to be able to afford it.
